What is a DMC?The letters DMC stand for Destination Management Company. Such companies typically provide a range of ‘destination’ or ‘curbside’ services, including program design, logistics management, itinerary and transportation planning, hotel bookings, venue selection, recreation and sightseeing activities, event and on-site management.
Why use a DMC?
A DMC is your local city expert. As such, they can provide invaluable insight into a destination, providing up-to-date knowledge on facilities, venues, roads -- anything that might impact your itinerary and ultimately, the roll-out of your event.
DMCs also know local suppliers, and can often negotiate favorable rates or additional services on your behalf. They can provide a personal representative to meet your group and are often ‘on call’ to make sure that all contracted services run smoothly.
